#throwback to #sillyfaces and #humanjunglegym times on the local hill 🤪 thunderstorms sound like their kicking up again but I’m still hoping for a hike tonight. If all else fails, at least tomorrow’s doctor appointment adventures will get us outside and exploring in Salida 😍

There are a few things I love doing when it comes to #photography - and on the top of the list, after family snapshots and such, is #marketingphotography. HEY! That’s me!! On a #paddleboard!!! On a lake!!!! NOT landing fish 😑 sometimes, the views make up for a skunky day on the water...I hadn’t visited this #coloradohighcountry lake in over a year and it was still as secluded and lovely as I remember it (even with a few other random fisher folks scooting about). When I look at myself in a PFD and can’t see my 7 month #babybump, I get all sorts of confused...and then this little #ninjababy kicks me back to reality 🤪 For all you #mamas out there, keep getting after it. Keep hiking, keep padding, keep biking, keep fishing, keep on keeping on when it comes to whatever you love!! Because...why not? Monday views with hopes of clear thinking and positive vibes all week... Nearly a month ago, I failed my first glucose test. A few days later, I botched the second test. The following day, my doctor called to say “ya, you’ve got gestational diabetes...schedule an appointment and let’s talk”. For 4 weeks, I’ve transitioned from anxious worry to empowered energy, moved my body more and changed my diet substantially. And in that time, I’ve tested my glucose levels, multiple times a day some days - finding not a single spike. Literally, not one - even after experimenting with sweet desserts and corn and flour tortilla indulgence. I don’t know how I failed both screenings, but what I do know is I don’t believe everything modern medicine says. I will continue to move and ride and play outside with my amazing family and wonderful friends and fill my body with good foods and my mind with positive thoughts because in the end, regardless of what a medical diagnosis may be, I realize this is what I need. These are the pieces that make my day and my self whole. #staypositive #positivevibes #mondayvibes #keeponkeepingon #thebreezekeepsblowing
