“The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do.” – Andy Warhol
This past weekend, I had the opportunity to shoot my first wedding (well, first wedding since the days of my film Nikon with my husband (boy friend at the time) as my second shooter back in the mid-2000’s….).
I’ve taken a lot of photographs at the Windsor Hotel, but never anything like capturing memories for a great couple! And Danielle’s style was right up my alley-requesting few posed photos and a lot of candid shots. Perfect.
Here’s a quick sample for the couple’s big day…
The Windsor Hotel is all-inclusive…from the bridal suite and where the ceremony takes place to the delicious wine and reception dinner.
In addition to the Windsor, our wonderful little town has a great flower shop…the girls at The Columbine make gorgeous arrangements!
The ring bearer and flower girls were wild and incredibly sweet! Somehow, I ended up being the designated piggy-back-ride-giver…not sure how that happened (I just remember being pounced on!).
I’m not sure if I’ll ever get a chance to document another wedding, but I truely enjoyed being able to capture Danielle and Chad’s story this weekend…
