hiatus

/hīˈādəs/: noun: a pause or gap in a sequence, series, or process.

I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus due to a new life in my life. Our little boy, Samuel Forest, was born on April 5th and we couldn’t be more excited. Forest has already visited his first National Park (Great Sand Dunes), explored Wyoming and northern Colorado, taken several hikes around the valley, hit the Rio Grande (on the windiest of days..but still), and scored some fresh gear at REI on a recent Denver trip.

With all this adventuring, who has time to post on the blog?! Well, this gal is getting back into it with some great new posts on the way including some new photo essays and gear reviews.

So, stay tuned…and, well, maybe take a quick nap while you’re at it 😉
